Tek, I am surprized at you, not chanting the Y2K armagedon and admitting publicly you have been involved with software for the last 20 years. It is almost worst than treason, it is like burning the flag. Since I am a professed Farmer that does not do Windows (software)nor Drugs (I refuse assignments in drug development), I can climb on roofs and shout Y2K, hambag (????), but you? (VBG).

tekgk: I regularly lurk on this site as well as others but have missed your calls concerning Y2K. Am I to understand that there is much ado about nothing re: The Millenium Bug? I was considering investing in several Y2K co.s but part of my DD entails hearing from the contrarians, as I take it, you are. Can you give me a quick synopsis on your opinion re: Y2K co.s as investment vehicles on the long side vs. short? Most of these co.s have had substantial run-ups over the last few months. Do you feel these evaluations won't hold up over the next few weeks, months, years?

A tremendous thank you for the valuable feedback you and the others provide neophytes like myself.
