That's an interesting point about the 30 day "no shorting" interval. Is this an established rule, or just something brokers do as a courtesy? Also, wasn't NANX's IPO more than 30 days ago?(it must have been if there was already short interest by November 15).

One of NANX's main customers has news: Reuters Monday December 29, 8:50 am Eastern Time Moyco ends Ashland talks, close to CMP sale DUBLIN, Ohio, Dec 29 (Reuters) - Moyco Technologies Inc said Monday it had terminated talks to sell its CMP slurries used in the semiconductor industry to Ashland Inc's (NYSE:ASH - news) chemical division and said it was close to a deal with another chemical company. Ashland and Moyco said in a joint statement that they had agreed to end their discussions. In a separate statement, Moyco said it was close to signing a deal with another company for the sale of CMP slurries. A spokesman for Moyco declined to release the name of the potential acquiror but said the deal would be announced ''hopefully in a week or two.'' Mel's note: CMP slurries are the "single use polish" used in chip-making to smooth down the chips perfectly flat in prep for all that goes on the chips. It is a huge and growing market.
