AL: Thanks for the scan. I've written a breakout scan using the upper bollenger band breakout. I may try to use your scan as a further filter.

There is some danger using this approach. Bolliger
said "A sharp move outside the bands followed by
an immediate retracement of that move is a sign
of exhaustion" in one issue of his Capital Growth
Letter. I've not tried your formula, but I've back-
tested the similar idea on B.B. breakout. The result
is not good. I appreciate if you could back-test, say,
all Nasdaq issues with price>5 and volume>100k.
Then compare what percentage of the breakouts is false
after 7 and 14 days. Thanks.
