Where does it say global warming in the article? Likewise in NOAA's article. Where does it say CO2 induced global warming?
nwfsc.noaa.gov

How does CO2 and global warming create the Pacific Blob, when the Pacific Blob has nearly disappeared the last 6 months, while global temperatures and CO2 have gone up the last 6 months? In other words, how's the man-made drought in Washington?

Ive had the pleasure of fishing Prince William Sound for Salmon - Coho's and Kings for the last 20 years - out of Valdez Alaska.

Both populations have been in decline at least the last 5 years.

Also baffling is the population of pink salmon, which have been setting records with huge increases.

Truthfully no one has the final answer.

Most I talk to think it is the result of over commercial fishing for the two better species silvers and kings.

Others think it may be competition for food sources.

The poundage of take on the pinks is huge compared to that of both kings and Cohu (silvers).

Populations of species do have cycles i.e. rabbits, wolves , and caribou.

Not mention the entire impact of the full cycle is opportunistic and far from scientific IMHO
