Reagan became a conservative. i heard the Time for Choosing speech live. I think Trump is another Clinton - he is no Reagan and he is no Conservative. His support is around 40%, but I keep hearing how all the blue voters are going to flock to him. Makes sense since he is one of them... Don't blame me, blame folks who support a candidate I cannot support.

Don't compare Trump to Reagan. Reagan evolved into his conservatism decades before becoming president. He had the intellectual curiosity to understand the constitution, society and our history. He was a thought leader and a champion of conservative causes. When he wrote "A Time for Choosing" in 1964, it was a seminal work on power and conscience. He prepared himself for the Presidency by governing the country's largest state. And he united and inspired the country. Trump is no Reagan.
