To be perfectly fair, we don't know if Trump is a fascist or not. He waffles about everything, there is no telling what his core believes are or even if he has them.

But he certainly has hit pretty much all of the fascist themes in this election. And they resonate with his followers. Especially anything to do with democracy. They seem to be against it.

What is interesting to me is that unlike the alleged Sinclair Lewis quote, fascism is wrapped in the flag but isn't carrying a cross to any notable extent. Sure, there are elements, but that is to be expected. Now if Cruz and Trump were to get together, that would be different. A Fascist and a Dominionist would be a potent combination...
