That attractive dividend could be endangered by the debt service costs they will incur, unless, of course, the demand for enterprise servers exceeds current estimates by a very large margin.

I thought WDC might have considered convertible debt in order to keep interest rates low. Back about 25 years ago, they issued convertible bonds that were less costly than ordinary bonds. They could probably issue convertibles today with a yield below 3%, with conversion to common shares near $75. The Moody's rating of their debt is nothing to write home about.
