Svejk-- Forget the hot rum for the moment; not a suitable drink for Nice. We shall have Kir before lunch and a nice ros‚ with. For dinner, well, why not Champagne throughout? It goes well with oysters and nearly everything else, though I suppose taht with the cheese course we'll want a really noble burgundy. And with the large quantites of foix gras we'll consume (God I love foix gras) the sophisticated choice is of course Chƒteau Yquem... Freezing here. Wish I hadn't come back. I'm sure the corporate card could have stood a bit more.... Janice S&L
