Regarding the status of the VLT's as reported in the last news release they were to be installed as of last monday (about 25 followed by the remaining 80 machines on this shipment ) there has been no change in the progress . Regarding news on this , to be quiet honest the company doesnt want to waste the news during this holiday season . This will be a major event for the company which im sure you can see . I would suspect that a progress report would be in order sometime after the holiday's followed or to include a report On daily drops for the VLT's The projections put out by noram which you have viewed were half of what Sharp Image has put together for this project , with your experience with VLT's you know how explosive it can be. Those comparison numbers where broken down to VLT numbers only . If you can get access to the IGWB you can check September's/October's issue for those numbers. Its an annual report done by the IGWB and is accurate and well respected publication in the gaming industry, they also make mention of Norams exposure to the area. Regarding the economy i found this post to be of intrest along with the numerous comments done by the Gagle report . Noram's own research , and documented statistics from V-Land Regarding current revenue's ( 10 MIllion a week and recently reporting a 50% increase now that the new federal laws are in motion)Coupled with the removal of the illegal lottery's, Norams future looks very bright. Message 2991688 I would like to draw your attention to this comment made by Mr James Gagel who did this reportlocated at noramgaming.com . Granted he was commisioned by Noram but he does have his reputable name on the line with this report "The first 105 video lottery terminals have arrived in Venezuela, where they are being assembled and installed by a joint team of Sharp technicians and LYMCA sales/marketing personnel. The chosen area is the Municipality of Sucre in Caracas, with a population of 700,000. This commercial/residential district is surrounded by mountains, which has caused vertical, rather than horizontal growth, resulting in a high population density per square kilometer. Sites have been investigated and preselected by LYMCA personnel, in high-traffic, centrally located lottery outlets, restaurants, pool halls and bars.A visit to these sites on December 2, 1997, at 5:30 p.m. revealed lines 4 and 5 deep waiting to buy lottery tickets, or play video/gaming machines, whose maximum payouts ranged from $120 to $198, as opposed to a $4,000 maximum prize offered by the technologically superior Sharp machine. It is estimated that 90% of all existing gaming machines in Venezuela are unlicensed, and therefore subject to immediate removal by the authorities." i urge you to complete your Due dilegence with a call to Mr zilba 1- 313- 888-1172 GO NRAG MBA 1998 Jeff Noram Keep em coming
