<< Any particular reason for thinking it will tank more this week? >> Nah, just a guess for the contest, my real short (8 1/8 in late Nov) will be covered at 7 if it shows any strength ... otherwise I'll wait a while longer to see of anything else bad happens. There were a couple of quite negative sounding downgrades of this stock a few weeks ago right before I shorted it - but like you said, the apparent manipulation took most of the shorting potential out of this stock before that, and a lot of what could go wrong (being forced to shut down some or all of their south american casinos, for instance) probably won't be decided for quite a few months. This and ZITL (short) are still the only stocks that I'm still ahead on after the dd, high-tech, semi equip. etc. disasters of the last couple of months. PS Someone on one of the shorting threads seems to think it has a ways to go yet - these guys seem to be pretty good at picking shorts. Message 3029043

******** On Stock On Week *** Orctf Lng open 12/29 I like orckit in this range, they are one of the pure xDSL plays that are starting to make money now. They just had their first profitable Qtr - did IPO in June of 96. They have a fair amount of cash ~30MM, very good technology, good partnerships and are very well run.

**** One Stock 1 week *** IDTI Long op 1/6 * Troy - I meant to get the pick in last pm but got tied up with life. Also, I would like to pick Oracle long next week. I think that some of those shares dumped on 12/9 - 12/10 may be picked back up after the 31 day wash. Best of luck. Tom
