I would favor neither. McConnell's support is worthless. Worse than worthless, it would hurt whoever McConnell comes out for.

Cruz will probably just do what he's doing. If Trump closes him out, he will make nice with Donald and support him.

I'm betting the former. a public apology??.....no fucking way............McConnell, Cronyn, Hatch, Thune............low-lifes all....... born without a spine........what can they deliver?......did they deliver Jeb?.....Christie?.......Rubio?........Kasich? the GOPe (Ryan/McConnell) is already feeling out Trump ........this will be Trump's first "deal".......... and in the very best cynical tradition of the GOPe.......behind closed doors and selling out the conservative base........just incredible how easily all these Trumpsters got DUPED
