You would not buy till it turns up. What would you consider an acceptable price to start accumulate shares?

I found an insider buying at 24.25 on 11/10/97 (25,000 shares) and divide that number by 1.6. So now I am a pround owner at $15. I was not so much afriad to lose as much as losing an opportunity to buy at a low.

While the funds must have been dumping the shares, I noted that the funds (legg mason, brandywine, fidelity etc) holding WDC prior to recent drop in price have on the whole very good track record. The turn of events surprised the "expert" as well. Even the Prudent Speculator feautured WDC as the "stock of the month" at $30.00.

In light of the sales per share and balance sheet, it seems like a worthwhile bargain at this point.

Happy new year!
