NO, you do not send the statements to the IRS.

You MAY use the on-line info, if you DOWNLOAD IT NOW. You'll need to have a hardcopy. It wont be online "forever".

BUT the IRS may or may not accept the on-line version, as it is subject to MANIPULATION between the correct on-line source shown on your monitor and your printer's output.

You should BACK IT UP with canceled checks and if that all ties in you SHOULD be OK if you have an honest face (g)

The IRS will be informed by the brokers ONLY of the DATE and the DOLLAR AMOUNT and STOCK NAME of your COMMON STOCK TRADES. They will not get information of the number of shares sold, the purchaes you made, or ANY options information.
