For what it's worth... the Motley Fools were standing in for Bob Brinker radio show tonight and were asked about ASND. Their overall tone was bullish, basically that the selling seemed overdone. They said that the key was whether ASND's products were still favored by ISP's, AOL's, etc.

Consumer purchases should be down the most I would think. This would
affect PCs and peripherals of course. However, I have been reading
that internet and infrastructure spending by non-consumers is still
considered a priority item. That I think will continue pretty much
as before. ASND should be less affected than COMS, IMO.

This seems to mirror my thoughts. The "media" does not seem to distinguish between the two.
