Jlallen, he's the very definition of a "useful idiot." In this case, he illustrates exactly how someone suffering from white guilt thinks.

These are the people who were taught to loathe their own "white privilege." They see racism everywhere, even in the very water we drink, as you could tell from the water crisis in Michigan.

They see the racial makeup of upper middle-class neighborhoods being predominantly white (with maybe some Asians, but we Asians are essentially "white" to these people), then come up with crazy conspiracy theories as to why they're that way.

They will jump onto the bandwagon of judgementalism every time some right-winger says something that could even remotely be construed as "racist." They will shout down the target of their righteous indignation and use the "power" of social media to prove to everyone how outraged they are.

But when you look at their own hearts, and you look at the words that spring from their hearts, they are perhaps some of the most racist, closed-minded people in this country, second only to those who are openly racist like the KKK.

These "white guilt" people stand in the way of true racial reconciliation. Shep is a loser, but he is also a reflection of the white Democrats in power like Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton who will play the race card to their benefit. And they will cement the very establishment that has failed underprivileged minorities for decades now.
