Joey, go back and see how much money Intel made when it had one or half of one fab pumping chips... Jerry knows all he has to do is hang on untill Dresden is in full production. that when AMD will have a shot at making the big bucks. Untill then all this other stuff is diversionary. Dresden also coincides with full utilization of both the flash plants in Japan pumping out low voltage chips for the about to deregulated world telecommunications makrket. Right about the time Motorola and teledisc satalite networks come on line and hand held toys perliforate the brief case. He will have state of the art production facilities in the two fastest growning noncomodity chips segments. Right about the time 300mm wafer technology comes on line doubling capacity without having to build another Fab. but I guess there gonna go with one in china. He's well into his five year plan and so far the wheels hav'nt come off.
