I had cable TV up until 2 years ago. Then I switched to Digital Satellite with services from Direct TV and USSB. I am extremely pleased with my setup and services. CNN/FN, CNBC and Bloomberg TV are 3 stations that provide constant market related news before, during and after the bell. It is the perfect compliment to a traders computer setup.

Local cable company

I did check into all of these new technologies, but they are in very limited use.. Still experimental The ASDL? and Cable modem require big investments by the host companies and relatively new systems. My cable company TCI says only 10 percent of the cable laid will work.. Usually if your cable is less then 5 years old.
