We are in agreement that the law determines whether apple has to help FBI. I don't need lectures - the fact that all of you are lecturing about how this is not USSR etc is perplexing - I have consistently stated that the courts should decide whether it is lawful for apple to hide or help. As a citizen, I would like the law to be on FBI's side in this case. All the apple shills and Cook will have a completely different personal view if the cops are in possession of a phone that - if unlocked - could stop a terrorist from destroying apple's headquarters in the next 10 min. But even then, it will be the law and the courts that will decide.

And Apple's argument that it will create a security hole is wrong. Not sure if they have actually consulted a real security expert.
