Do you really think the South Koreas did not make money in its past investment ? Look at its
semiconductor industry, sip industry, steel industry, the Auto industry. The from time to time overcapacity of the factory is just normal. Just look at FORD, GM, Crysler, they all have
shot down and close factories from time to time as a result of over capacity and economic downturn. Why this did not bring a problem to the US economy ?
The real problem for South Korea is its long term gain from its economic build up is
not fast enough to pay off their huge short term debt. This is the real problem. As to the
capacity of factories they built up in the past years will be dijest easily by the continuous
economic growth in China. A growing market of 1.4 billion population is just at its backyard.
Samsung , Gold Star is already the largest consumer electronics exporters to China in the
Chines market. This is the insurance that South Korea will eventually pay off its debt, just
need somemore time.
