Do we know enough to answer these questions? No. Until we do, the questions are all moot. I could probably come up with a handful of reasons why Vodaphone MIGHT be doing the CDMA/GSM overlay trials, but I can't read their private corporate paperwork, so it would be sheer speculation on my part... as it is on yours.
