Motley Fool's Industry Focus 98 picks this stock in the GaAs semiconductor market. This board is pretty dead. There are 400 employees of this company, somebody must look at this board. Lots of questions and controversy in the past re this co. Anybody out there with some cold hard facts?
How did the Fab move go?
Are they ramping production with Qualcom, Ericcson, and Phillips?
Are they taking business from ANAD?
Are they busy? Are they hiring production personnel?
From my perspective this is a good company but sometimes not a very good stock. They talk about 40% revenue growth rates and everybody knows there can be tremendous LEVERAGE for semiconductor cos of this size. The retailers can't get enough digital cellular phones so this investment theme seems to get the most bang for the buck in TQNT stock.

In 1984 if you were betting on the PC revolution what was the best buy IBM, Apple, or Intel? Is the 1998 equivalent is ERICY, MOT, or TQNT?

Rex,

Thanks for the answer. I am aware of TQNT's relationship with QCOM, LU, ERICY, and NT. It makes me wonder how good its products are. It seems to me that ANAD had a more successful products offering to the above customers. I thought you may know some information that I have not figured out yet. That is the reason I am asking.

Anyway, I used to owned TQNT at higher price and sold them at even higher price before it went down. Also, traded it often recently with some profits too. I will continue to monitor this thread because my investments with Globalstar and QCOM.

Thanks in advance for sharing more technical information with me. Especially with telcomm. related information.

Best regards,

Brian H.
