I also find it disrespectful to the artists involved in making and producing the film whenever I see such a disclaimer. I don't think it happens that often, but I watch Bravo less for that reason. They could be cutting length to fit their broadcast schedule, but that would be stupid.

IFC broadcasts everything. I would rather see a foreign film with subtitles so I can hear the real actors' voice inflections. Another good station is the Sundance channel, they broadcast great films that won awards at Sundance Festivals.
