Any rupture in the tailings facility would drain into Mess creek , The Stikine river and empty into the chuck at Wrangell USA. The Alaskans have voiced concerns, and after Teck's Columbia river polluting fiasco They probably will be careful it don't happen again. The original Galore plan faced the same problem. Where it could possibly pollute the Stikine in the same manner. So they changed the Mill and tailings locations to Westmore on high ground on the other side of the tunnel.

Her is a pretty good map of where the area projects are located in proximity to each other, The JW option is a former GCMC claim which they optioned to Romios basically to prove up for them. If it is good GCMC will buy it back for their Galore project. It is about the same distance from the mill site as CUU as is much of the GCMC claims.

The grey areas are claims held by a number of smaller enterprises waiting for Teck & Nova to make a decision regarding the access road as is CUU & Romios it's self.

You can see Teck and GCMC have vast holdings in the region. From the bottom of the map to the top and the map does not cover all they have. Some of the Grey areas Teck originally held but sold of on an earn in + cash to let someone else take the risk involved in doing the exploration.
