Short interest dropped 190K shares to 2,891,867. While I don't make much of the reported SI, I should note that this is the lowest it has been since last August. It makes sense that someone or some entity might want to cover before news...just in case.

True.

Let me add another spin to this scenario. They could have covered just in case the SP took off with the news or they could have covered to be able to short more in case the results don't pan out. They would need manipulation to the upside for this to work - Today was a very BIG day Volume wise! 2,575,000 shares traded hands and we ended up 12.5% ( after yesterday's 12% gain - although - you could tell they were bringing the share price down at the close of certain days - Tuesday - last Friday are examples of that ).

When is the last time we traded North of 2M shares? January 28, 2015.

There certainly was buying power behind today's move.

Either way - I don't think we are fairly valued by the market for a while now - I certainly like today's closing price better than Tuesday's.

One last note. I actually like the fact that this move came close to the quarter end. Monday would be the last trading day for the first quarter of 2016. T+3. Depending on what happens on Monday - we might be able to get a better idea of who the players are.
