Danny, I do not think that the decline to 6200 I expect will come from the Japanese liquidating US stock, I think it will come from fear of lower profits for US corporations due to a recession covering all of East Asia, and possibly sreading to other parts of the world (or at least the fear that such a recession will spread). Another element might be a blip in our interest rates as Japanese private and other institutions liquidate some US bonds putting upward pressure (temporary, since I am still on record that by late June we will see 5.5% in our long term bonds) early in the year on the long term bond.
