RE: Yes, I watch it and at these prices I like it . It's more of a strictly food play now that they exited from the industrial business.

P.S. I sold 1/2 my SKY position today.

Something looks a bit odd in STKL's latest Quarterly ...

... the ratio of CoS to Revenue has been fairly consistent between about 90% and 95%.

Of course, that leaves very little left over to get to its Bottom Line.

However, I'm puzzled by its ratio of SG&A to Revenue. Previously this was about 8% and it's now less than 5%. We also now see it fall to 10.8 when it was recently well above 20. That's quite a large drop in Admin Expenses over a period of only 3 months ??!!

Even with that SG&A reduction, the company is already losing money at EBITDA.
Bottom Line looks "iffy" as well.
I wonder what Donaldson was originally looking at when he said buy at 10 ... and, of course, when he said it ?

RE-STKL I sold out in 2013. It seems they sold the industrial business at a fire sale price. It's the organic business that interests me. They are one of the biggest suppliers if not the biggest supplier to White Wave. My wife uses almond soy milk in her mixer every day. One thing I don't like is compensation using the exercise of 0 priced options. This company has been a master of this. However insiders do own a 20% chunk. The former CEO is leaving. Maybe a fresher start now? I'm still just a looker here, but very interested. Accounting has always been complicated here. This due to one time various charges & write offs and IMO not being focused.

In this space I own CYAN HAIN LWAY. I'm still looking at LNDC and this company for possible additions.

FWIW- I bought into some untimely STKL today. Company is feeling more vulnerable now? Maybe just basic business, but The company is Changing shareholder rights plan.
