<<Rarebird, pragmatism is indeed provable>>

Pragmatism is based on utilitarianism and the later is not subject to proof, unless, of course, you are a rigid inflexible ideologue, with an axe to grind, which is exactly what you are.

The Utilitarian argument set forth by Trump is that the welfare of the American worker should have greater consideration than the worker in China. The profits of multinational Corporations will take a back seat here because the individual working American is superior to the multinational corporation.

<< because you "care," that means you don't have to prove that your solutions are indeed practical.>>

You bet I don't have to prove it. And the reason I don't have to prove it is that Care Defines What a Human Being Is. You don't know that because you are a rigid inflexible Ideologue, an abstraction of the highest order. The more one cares about your children, the better they turn out. The more friends care about one another, the better the friendship turns out. The more a country cares about its citizens, the better the country turns out. To be human is to care. I wouldn't expect a rigid inflexible ideologue like yourself to understand that.
