It's very possible that some subversives could lie their way in there and all the delegates would be at their mercy.

Secret Service would just be there to protect the candidates, not the delegates.

It would probably be best and more representative of 2nd amendment rights if all the delegates and all the candidates were armed and the Secret Service was told that they were NOT welcome.

I can understand your saying that you wouldn't carry a gun in a bar if you expected to be drinking, but WHY NOT carry a gun in a courtroom???

There have been cases in courtrooms where "criminals" have sneaked guns in and innocent people have died ONLY because law abiding citizens in those courtrooms were NOT armed.
