"President Ronald Reagan said, "The more government takes in taxes, the less incentive people have to work. If, on the other hand, you reduce tax rats and allow people to spend or save more of what they earn, they'll become more industrious; they'll have more incentive to work hard, and money they earn will add fuel to the great economic machine that energizes our national progress. The result: more prosperity for all--and more revenue for government."But Reagan wasn't the only president who understood that lower taxes yield higher revenues by unleashing economic growth and job creation. To many Democrats' chagrin, Reagan was merely echoing the economic thoughts of President John F. Kennedy, who had already said, in 1962, "The paradoxical truth is that the tax rates are too high today and tax revenues are too low and the soundest way to raise revenues in the long run is to cut rates now."

Note: Look at the posts on the "Hard on Trump" thread to see how absolutely true this observation is. The "moderator" there (the joke moderator) calls the leading presidential candidate, "The Duck", "Donald Duck" and other such childish insults. If it wasn't for a filthy and vulgar mouth and a vacuous mind nourishing itself with a self-imposed ignorance and a scrapbook of schoolyard insults (while banning those he considers a threat to his ill-conceived opinions), this fellow (and his uneducated street buddies) wouldn't have a single word to say!

"Our schools aren’t safe. On top of that, our kids aren’t learning. Too many are dropping out of school and into the street life-and too many of those who do graduate are getting diplomas that have been devalued into “certificates of attendance” by a dumbed-down curriculum that asks little of teachers and less of students. Schools are crime-ridden and they don’t teach.
How long do we think the U.S. can survive schools that pretend to teach while our kids pretend to learn? How can a kid hope to build an American Dream when he hasn’t been taught how to spell the word “dream”?Public education was never meant to only teach the three R’s, history, and science. It was also meant to teach citizenship. At the lower levels it should cover the basics, help students develop study habits, and prepare those who desire higher education for the tough road ahead. It’s a mandate the public schools have delivered on since their inception. Until now."
