Meathead, Re:"DELL in NC". That is a good news for DELL. At least
the vision is there.

I disagree with the argument you have on the price point between
full functional PC and NC.

The cost from corporations standpoint is the 'total ownership of
the PCs'. A full functional PC requires 'full functional software'
and constant upgrades to ALL of them and each one requires attention.

MH, re: Dell helped define the NC, and was first to market with it..

IBM is selling java based systems, these are not NetPCs that IBM is selling. The NCs that IBM is selling do not have hard drives, they are produced by NCDI. I believe DELL had nothing to do in the definition of NCs. NC acceptance would hurt DELL.
