Could be. He polls poorly among everyone who isn't a white male. Even with them, he is deeply disliked by anybody who isn't already a fan.

It might be enough for him to get the nomination. Might not. But for the general, it looks very bad.

And that seems to extend down ticket. Now it is very possible that the Republicans will lose the Senate. Likely would have happened even without Trump. But with him, it seems very, very likely. Even the House is in play. Something that the Democrats have essentially written off until at least 2022. With Trump at the top of the Republican ticket, it seems more and more likely.

If the Democrats sweep Congress and the presidency, look for legislation changing the rules for redistricting so that some 3rd party does it instead of state legislatures. The gerrymandering has just been too blatantly partisan.
