The answer to your question, at one time or another, is every single one of them. Sorting a .30 stock is much safer than shorting Microsoft -- I know a hedge fund guy who says he would love to be a OTC:BB MM -- license to steal.

You're absolutely right! That is also a VERY significant cause!

And I also agree that whatever shorting might have been done before on FAMH is probably covering at this 30 cent price. (Although MH Meyerson's positioning over the past few weeks has looked really peculiar.)

It's interesting to note that out of 248,000 shares traded so far today, only 47,000 appear to be sells as compared to 201,000 in buys.

In my opinion, the FAMH program is gaining some very strong momentum going into the 1Q of 98.

Thanks for pointing out something that certainly should NEVER be overlooked!
