I don't see any reason to keep somebody around who has basically run the company into the ground once his hands were on other people's money. It's fine if he wants to go off and fail on his own, but he should be removed now to limit any further damage. The other area of concern is the lack of application development talent as evidence by the Java failure and their admission that the so-called beta version did not have search-and-replace. A document has paragraphs and segments of text with like attributes within those segments. If they could not search-and-replace then they were missing the most basic of structure and whoever was responsible has no business designing software. How will this woefully inept company turn things around? That's the question everybody is waiting to have answered but Cowpland is not fit to answer that question and needs to be removed immediatly if not sooner.

1. Terminate Cowpland.
2. Terminate the NC effort.
3. Terminate the OLAP effort.
4. Bring in competent technology managers.
4. Refocus the Java effort and cooperate with, not trash, Sun and IBM.
5. Lose the stupid product names like Quattro Pile and the other relics.
6. Focus on a Flow Charting application based on the highly successful VISIO.
7. Find out why inferior products like Micrographx still have a large market.
