For the one or two of you who accidentally forgot about the UConn women's team game tonight, it was an intense, suspenseful nail-biter classic back and forth affair... until the opening tip, and then UConn ran away with it, up 27 at the half. The Huskies are now 11-0 in championship games. The seniors graduated with four rings. Brianna Stewart tied Michael Jordan for most total (college and pro) championship basketball MVPs, winning her fourth in a row. The seniors only lost once in their four years playing at UConn.

Some trivia: Brianna Stewart grew up in Syracuse (the team UConn destroyed). Kia Nurse, who started for UConn tonight, is the niece of Donovan McNabb (by his second marriage to her aunt). Stewart is being hailed as the greatest collegiate woman's player ever. Paul McCartney's middle name was... Paul; his full name is James Paul McCartney.
