Iraq's oil minister said Saturday that Baghdad expects within a week to resume oil exports as part of a U.N. oil-for-food program. On TV news there was a clip of Iraqis chanting their hatred of the USA because of the oil embargo. I don't know whether it was pointed out to them that it was their glorious leader who shut down all official oil exports. Oil is also being exported through Jordan at half price, according to the news. I wonder whether that if official UN oil, or under the table stuff. Just wondering about the impact on Turkey. Charles
