-- Good point. I never thought of it that way. But you're right. For the same reason you'd take a tax loss - by selling VVUS in December.

-- You'd hold off covering your short sale until Jan '98.

-- Actually, the statements that the shorts covered was said in the context that there was no buying in reserve. And the stock price would sink further. As the price had just went from $14 to $11 or so when the statements were made, I was quite concerned.

-- Now, I think if the shorts are still out there, the company buyback which probably won't resume until end of Jan '98, the strong scrip data posted by Dr. Bond, and the fact that MUSE is still the best product out there, I think we can be looking for a run up soon.
