Exxon clearly lied. "The oil companies aren't even certainly wrong" They certainly are.... ... is as valid as F=MA and E=MC squared. "The oil companies sell people a useful and important product." I get it; if you lie in order to sell a product which will kill the user, you're bad, but if you lie to sell a product which will kill the users, non-users, and most plant and animal species,plants, and change the climate of the planet for millennia, you're OK, as long as your product is useful.
