PEX tubing

Thanks!

Okay that is cool!

I didn't know about this tubing.

I have a PVC external distribution for the garden hoses.

It's outside and not permanently connected to the water system (disconnect and drain for the winter)
One part I didn't put in needs to go underground and then up - I didn't put that in since I didn't solve the problem of draining it - besides the idea of blowing very hard to get the water out before winter :-). Or putting in a pin hole at the bottom… Maybe PEX will work - there will be ice, but the system will not be under pressure so it might work for this application.

For inside the house, I'll need to make sure about code.

Although recently I bought a faucet which has built in PEX tubes to connect to the valves. I was wondering why they were using this weird plastic for this application, now I know.

I LOVE Pex! Makes plumbing fun and easy. Even easier when you use those sharkbite push on connectors.
