WinStar gets new mouthpiece: WinStar Communications Appoints David P. Walker Senior Vice President Of Corporate Communications NEW YORK--Dec. 29, 1997--WinStar Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ - WCII) today announced that it has appointed David P. Walker Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications. Walker joins WinStar from Union Bank of Switzerland where he was Vice President of Public Relations for the Americas Region since 1996. From 1986 to 1996, Walker held progressively more senior communications roles at American Express Company and First Data Corporation, which was spun off from American Express in an initial public offering in 1992. "He has wealth of experience in proactively managing the communications needs, both internal and external, of rapidly growing organizations. Post College.
