Back to the magazine articles...the emotional side says JINXED! TXN was rated highly in BusWeek and it is down significantly since then....

Stephen: I'm not stupid enough to ever short a company/stock like CPQ or INTC or CCB or GE....while there may be money to be made short-term, there is too much risk involved...there are too many garbage companies losing money that can be shorted profitably to possibly lose your shirt shorting one of the best companies in the world. You probably figured that out since CCB has gone up about 10 points in a couple weeks since you mentioned shorting it over on the LMT thread; onetheless, the graph still indicates CPQ has a very realistic chance of going lower before it goes higher. If you are a LONG-TERM investor, you should do fine in CPQ.
