Sorry to tell you at this late date, but they were both total military invasions.
I hear Bill Clinton pursued a lot of "minor police actions" in Iraq and Afghanistan. Look how well that all turned out.

Obama is making the same damned mistakes, only in more countries. He didn't actually pursue a policy of disengagement because, like every president before him, he thought he could have his cake and eat it too.

Is THAT "competency" to you? If so, then yeah, Hillary Clinton is your candidate.
