Jim, you are forgetting one important point. That is, when DELL said 4-6% for asia, it includes India, China and those countries are doing great and they are not affected by this flu. Even this flu is being cured fast by IMF, G-7, U.S. and we all know that this antibiotic will take care of Korea's flu. DELL gets its components from that region and with strong $, they will be cheaper. This will help DELL's bottom line.

total bunch..must be something to do with the name jim get a real job in the industry before you give advice like your post you'll find out what this does to a dell or cpq at 4q results and idc stats.. they are doing bakflips their parts are so cheap. neither dell nor cpq sells very much in korea or japan. and what they did sell it was too much work bec. the countries are closed. the effect of this is a massive drops in purchase cost across the board and that is on 100% of the units.(which for dell and cpq will be 50% increases yr to yr) the 4q stats will reveal massive icreases in cpq and dell and hp. profit will be way above plan. It will further show that for every 1 pc they didn't sell in korea and japan they sold 2 in europe. Jim....seriously..your analysis indicates you have never never never been in this business. dell and cpq stks are down bec. they are down..that's it. they down need a reason to be down and they go up and down all the time....check histroy. 10 yrs from now guys that didn't listen to you will be millionaries.
