Hello koan. Hello thread.

I hope it is ok if I pass through to ask koan a question. Koan you posted the below on epi's thread where I am banned. I am wondering how you explain such polarization. Are republicans born with a corruption gene that causes them to be both corrupt and republicans?

I don't feel like the Democratic Party is corrupt. Most of the Democrats are very fine people. It is a system that has been forced on us by the corrupt Republicans. The Democrats would have gone for public financing of campaigns any time over the last 50 years. It is the Republicans that stopped it.

The Democrats would've voted for universal healthcare, free public education, you name it. The scoundrels in all of these situations has always been the Republicans.

The problem Obama had with the plutocrats had nothing to do with his being corrupt, it had to do with the fact that over the last 40 years the plutocrats with the help of the Republican Party simply have become too powerful to confront.

Obama came into office facing the worst financial crisis since the 1920s and I think he felt he didn't want to take on the American yakuza as well. That was just a bridge too far. And he may very well have been correct. Even today we can see that he is trying to do more of the right things as he becomes more sure footed.

I was also banned a sixth time by the previous moderator of this thread, a fellow named Dale something. I was banned for bringing up Lee Atwaters Southern strategy. That one has always puzzled me-lol.
