I always wondered what happened to Pollyanna. I never said that the Democrats and Republicans were equal in terms of policy and leadership, just that they are roughly equal in terms of corruption. I'll call your State and raise you New York and Illinois on the Democratic corruption scale, and that's not even mentioning "Landslide Lyndon" in Texas. For every corrupt Republican you can name I guarantee you I can name a corrupt Democrat. There are plenty of good reasons to prefer Democrats over Republicans, but lack of corruption isn't one of them.
