If I were you, I would take high dose fish oil for a couple of years and see if that helps. 6000 mg per day. Dr Davis finds that about half that do that bring it down.

I'm watching and waiting. My last Agatston score was 5. Five years earlier it was 7. I'm about due for another one so we'll see how things are holding up.

As a general approach, I'm disinclined to treat markers for disease when there is an opportunity to measure actual evidence of disease. I don't treat my very high LDL.

Anyway, with my Lp(a) more than ten times what Dr. D considers acceptable, there ain't enough fish oil in the world...
