What I said, and what I continue to say, is the battle is between the philosophies of the liberals and the conservatives. What party they belong to at any given point in time is irrelevant. In the old days there were liberals even in the Republican Party. But they banished them, so today there are no liberals in the Republican Party. But there are lots of conservatives in the Democratic party.

Dixiecrat's were Democrats. I never said they weren't. They were the racist Democrats in our party. And when the liberals in our party passed the 1964 Civil Rights Act, they fled to the Republican Party.

You don't need any movie for that. That is common history taught at every school and university in the world.

Do you just sit around and make stuff up? And by the way, regarding Lincoln, the conservatives hated Lincoln in the mid-1800s. He was a Northeast liberal.
