I don't think that's even true, BUT I couldn't care less about popularity. I don't think the things I think or believe the things I believe based on whether other people will approve or like me. That would be childish. I'd have to have no backbone of my own to let popularity drive my political beliefs. Don't be like a sixth grade girl worried about whether people will like her. Have your convictions. Think for yourself. Don't let the crowd control you.
