I do plan to average up, thanks. As I see many posting on threads as their stocks plummet, "I see this as a buying (selling) opportunity" HA!

As for the drillers, I'm long NE. It should have the greatest growth over the next two years as it's EVA semi-sub conversions come on-line. This growth will come because the higher dayrates generated by these new deep-water semi's as opposed to the low dayrate subs that they were, regardless of whether dayrates grow or remain flat in the offshore mkt. In addition, there is another semi that was stacked in Europe that is currently enroute to Houston. While it wouldn't be ready for service until '99. There is that additional growth prospect as well, which is not represented in any of the analysts' projections as of yet. Throw another doubling of dayrates in, and you get the picture. A doubling of dayrates from here, however, will likely take more than a year. Keep in mind that I don't trade my driller. My NE is an investment, one I plan to hold onto for a long time.

Good Luck!
