I spend a lot less time on SI than I used to because of all of the unnecessary and unrelated posts. To some it is an information forum, to others it is a place to socialize, be entertained or fulfill the needs of their ego. To each his own. I look for information and try to provide some once in awhile. I don't participate too much in the ramblings unless one really strikes a nerve. Good luck,and don't let it influence your qcom decision. This company has world's of potential.

Bruce

Hello IKM,
You do have a point, though I think you overstate the case when you say the thread has become "exceedingly tedious." This thread has been more like a conversation among a group of acquaintances with a common interest in Qualcomm rather than a discussion strictly about Qualcomm. To me, it has been mostly positive and enjoyable to have it that way. We haven't been careful to label our off-topic posts, but in a short time of reading the thread one can get a good idea of which posts are likely to meander off into different subjects.

However, perhaps lately we have allowed the ratio of off-topic to topical material to grow a little too big. What say the rest of you fellows, should we sharpen our focus just a bit? I'm sure we all would like to have IKM and those of similar mind stick around the thread so that we can benefit from their contributions.

==John

P.S. Hope I'm not one of those individuals whose ramblings you can ignore altogether :-)
