Just one old original turbine in the old, original portion of Grand Coulee generates much more than that..

Even the original, small turbines in Hoover Dam generate much, much more.

Just one turbine in the Third Powerhouse of Grand Coulee generates over 800 megawatts.

The two dams were obsolete and needed to come down.
